its been a while. a trip to sf loosened up some internal gunk and this is what came of it.

i made this tapestry with blake hoover referencing the confederate flags with hank jr.'s image emblazoned upon them. anyone who grew up in alabama will know what i'm talkin' 'bout. it is on display at the albina press on hawthorne and se 50th ave. along with a lot of other stuff by others and me. you can see it before january is over if you're a portlander.

i made this drawing of my friend, lindsay schief for tom tom magazine, a magazine about female drummers. 

listening to this grouper split with roy montgomery in the mellow times.

and this wolves in the throneroom on the dry, cold and grey days. a great skating around town soundtrack.

summer is ending. i have had some awesome times and i am ready for the next phase of the year. i am impregnated with hopes of creative production in the months to come. may the rain fall and hold me indoors. i will be happy there with the things and the ones i love.

MAJOR TRIP
